This office is amazing! My hygienist Jennifer, was great with me and very understanding about my anxiety about being there. She was helpful, friendly and explained things to me in a way no one ever has before. I was completely comfortable and would highly recommend this practice to anyone, especially if you have anxiety or haven’t been to the dentist in a while! The Doctor was great also, although my time with him was much shorter. He was knowledgeable and friendly.
Starting going to Dorr Family Dentistry in Dec. 2019 (sadly after years of not seeing a dentist). Not once did we feel looked down on for it being so long since seeing a dentist. They made both my husband and I feel very welcome and comfortable. They have worked with us to get our dental care back on track.. The office staff is always friendly and super helpful. And I LOVE my hygienist, she is absolutely wonderful!

At Dorr Family Dentistry, we never rush you through an exam or cleaning! We take time to address all your questions and concerns. We also use techniques and technologies to deliver these services in the most efficient way possible. Most exams and cleanings can be completed in about an hour. It may take a bit longer if you haven’t been to the dentist in a while.
It all depends on the type of treatment you receive during your appointment. If our dental team has applied fluoride treatments to your teeth, you’ll want to wait at least 30 minutes before you eat. Otherwise, there’s no reason to wait at all! However, many people prefer to wait awhile since their teeth and gums may feel a bit sensitive after their cleaning.
To keep your teeth and gums in the best possible shape, we recommend visiting our office every six months for dental cleanings and exams. This allows our team to remove bacteria-filled plaque before it can cause any serious problems. It also enables us to find issues like cavities and gum disease in their earliest stages, when they are easiest to treat.
