Dr. Bryant J. Dudzik is passionate about dentistry, and helping others live their best lives! Born and raised in the Grand Rapids area, he has been the owner of Dorr Family Dentistry since 2019. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology with additional studies in entrepreneurship at the University of Toledo. He also earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Dr. Dudzik further developed his skills in a wide variety of advanced dental procedures by completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Idaho State University. After residency, he continued to gain experience working as an associate dentist at multiple practices in West Michigan. One of Dr. Dudzik’s main goals is to provide the absolute highest quality of care to his patients. That’s why he still enjoys taking a variety of continuing education courses from some of the top educators in the country. In his free time, Dr. Dudzik enjoys spending time with his family and friends, traveling to new places, and staying active with a variety of sports and activities.
Dr. Austin Schild is born and raised in Grand Haven, Michigan. He attended Michigan State University for his Bachelor’s degree in both Human Biology and Kinesiology. Upon graduating, he moved to Chicago to attend Midwestern University where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. His love for west Michigan brought him back where he began to practice and provide for the community that gave so much to him. Dr. Austin knows what it’s like to be a dental patient. His extensive dental work growing up has drawn his curiosity and love for dentistry. Having braces for almost 3 years, root canals, extractions, and fillings, he felt a sense of confidence once his teeth were perfected. He promised himself to do the same for his community one day. His positive attitude, humble demeanor, and social personality work together to provide excellent patient-driven care. Dr. Schild wants to make it his goal to shine a different light on what it means to “go to the dentist”. Since beginning practice, Dr. Austin Schild has completed several continuing education courses keeping up to date on the latest research and technology to provide optimal care, including the Pankey Institute. He loves all things general dentistry but has a strong affinity towards CEREC same-day restorations and Root Canal Treatment. He is currently an active member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Society, Muskegon District Dental Society, West Michigan District Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry and a Pankey Alumni. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Austin enjoys spending time with his wife, Monica, and his goldendoodle, Sonny. They met in college at Michigan State. Monica is a dermatology PA and makes sure Dr Austin always wears his sunscreen! Together, they reside in Grand Haven and love being active. He also loves to golf, travel, and obsess with Michigan State football/basketball. Go Green!
Jen has been in the dental field since 2000, and with DFD since 2002. Jen says she is privileged to serve alongside a caring and competent team, and to provide quality care and education to this beautiful community. She likes the way this community cares for their families and enjoys the opportunity to watch them grow while helping them achieve health. Jen is currently blessed with one granddaughter, Ellie who enjoys helping “Grannie” groom the poodles. Jen enjoys serving as a family in the Radiant Cafe Ministry, as well as advancing her education in the area of animals and children. Her hobbies include yoga, grooming her animals and the designing & remodeling older homes.
Jessie has been in the dental field since 2019 and joined the Dorr Family Dentistry team in 2021. She finds great joy in serving her hometown community of Dorr. Jessie is passionate about educating her patients on how to improve their oral health. When not at work Jessie loves to spend time with her friends and family. She also loves to attend concerts.
Wende has been in the dental field since 1990 and has been a dental hygienist at DFD since 1998. Wende enjoys working with the amazing team at DFD because we as a team truly have the patient’s best interest for their oral health as our number one priority. She feels blessed to have met so many great people and their families over so many years at DFD, and now she sees children of the patients who were children themselves when she started practicing. Wende and her husband, Leon, have 5 grown children, 6 grandchildren and 2 family dogs. They have too many spoiled animals to count. Her farm animals include horses, miniature mules, cows, goats, chickens and cats. Wende enjoys most anything outdoors. She loves working with the animals and horseback riding with her husband, working on projects around their farm, hunting, gardening, and most of all loving on her grandchildren.
Shana has been a dental hygienist since 2017 and joined Dorr Family Dentistry in November 2025! She loves connecting with patients and making visits comfortable and fun. When Shana is not at the office, you’ll find her chasing around her three kids, riding horses, or enjoying the outdoors with her family.
Sam has been working in the dental field since 2013 and has proudly been a part of the team at Dorr Family Dentistry since 2014. She is passionate about providing quality dental care and helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their smiles. Outside of work, Sam and her husband Dylan along with their kids enjoy any kind of adventure. Whether it's exploring new places or just making memories together. Their family also includes a dog named Bernie and two cats, Luna and Charlie, who add even more fun to their busy household.
Tyler began his career in 2017 and joined our team in 2022. The best part of his job is helping patients restore their smiles. He and his wife Gina have a son named Eli and a daughter named Alison. In his spare time, he coaches his son’s and daughter’s basketball teams. They spend summers camping in northern Michigan. He has two dogs, Griffin and Sturgill, and a cat named Chickaletta.
Tessa joined our team in 2025 and is honored to work with all of the wonderful people at DFD and loves to create a comfortable and positive experience for all patients. In her free time, she likes to be outside working on home projects, going on walks and many other fun things with her fiancé, Tyler. She also spends a lot of her time with family and friends hiking, hanging out by the pool, around a bonfire and watching sunsets.
Isaac joined the DFD team as a Dental Assistant in January 2026 and is currently pursuing a career as a Dental Hygienist. He has a strong interest in dentistry and enjoys being part of a team dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. Isaac takes pride in supporting the clinical team and helping ensure that each appointment runs smoothly while maintaining a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients. As he continues his education in dental hygiene, Isaac is excited to keep expanding his knowledge and skills within the field. He values teamwork and enjoys contributing to a positive atmosphere in the office while helping deliver high-quality care to every patient who walks through the door. Outside of the office, Isaac enjoys traveling the world and spending time with friends and family.
Julie has worked at the front desk at Dorr Family Dentistry since 2019. She loves the people most, both the team she works with and the patients they provide care for. She enjoys the fast pace of this office, and also being able to use her organization, attention to detail, and multitasking skills. Julie was born in Holland, but has lived in Dorr since she married her husband, Brian. They have five children, four grandchildren and two golden retrievers. Her family enjoys spending time together at their property up north. Outside adventures are fun, but they also love game and movie nights at home.
Rya joined our team in 2025 and feels grateful to work with the wonderful people here at DFD. She’s passionate about making sure every patient has a positive and welcoming experience. Outside of work, Rya enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, Xander, as well as with family and friends. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, playing volleyball, attending concerts, and spending summer weekends at the lake on her family’s boat.
